A beautiful hand built, larch clad Treehouse, exciting and stylish, comprising a Living house and a Sleeping house, joined together by decking, up in the trees, in the heart of nature.
The Living House
Comprising of one lovely timber clad room with kitchen area, dining table and benches, and sofa – and is heated with a cosy wood burning stove. French doors lead out onto a sunny decking area for al fresco eating and relaxing!
The Kitchen
Fully equipped for cooking and dining. However in order to be as green and natural as we can, there is no dishwasher, microwave or washing machine. Eco friendly products are provided in the kitchen and the bathroom, as the waste water runs away through a reedbed back in the woods. The loo leads into a composting system, but don’t worry, it looks and functions like a normal loo, you’d never know. For kitchen food waste, there is a special composting area.
The Sleeping House
Comprises 2 bedrooms, and a bathroom. The Master bedroom can be made up as either a King size bed, or 2 singles. The bunk room has 2 bunks, plus a ladder up to a mezzanine level with secret double sleeping space for 2 adventurous extras! Find the spy holes! There is a full bathroom with a lovely shower with views into the trees; loo and washbasin. The sleeping house is heated and cosy too.
Everything is provided
Smart bedlinen, fluffy towels, soap and shower gel, as well as basic kitchen ingredients. All very well insulated and with good heating, they are perfect for all year round stays. There is plenty of storage under the beds, and many useful hooks and shelves – but don’t bring too much luggage – this is still a step up from glamping – though in great comfort and style!
