The Master Bedroom
Occupies its own spacious 16ft wood clad Shepherds Hut with comfy double bed, excitingly raised up, with plenty of space for either luggage or a toddler bed underneath; and space to chill out, or for a cot. There is a proper ensuite bathroom at one end, with shower, loo and washbasin and lovely views into the trees. It is all fully heated and cosy too.
The Bunk Room
Another beautiful wooden 16ft Shepherds Hut. Extremely flexible, it can either provide sleeping space for up to 4 kids or adults – with 2 full size single bunks, plus 2 slightly narrower single bunks. It also has its own ensuite bathroom at one end, with shower, loo and washbasin and lovely views into the trees. It is all fully heated and cosy too.
You would never know, but the loos actually route off to a clever composting system outside, but look and function like a normal loo inside.
The Living room
This is actually two more beautiful Shepherds Huts joined together to provide a kitchen and living area, heated by a woodburning stove. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking and has a cosy dining table with wraparound benches. You can cook on and in the quaint little woodburning stove, or we also provide a gas hob, and microwave to speed things up sometimes ! Oh and just to be as green and natural as we can, there is no dishwasher. Eco friendly products are provided in the kitchen and the bathroom, as the waste water runs away through a reedbed back in the woods. For kitchen food waste, there is a special composting area . The living area has two comfy sofa areas, with French doors leading out onto a sunny decking area for al fresco eating and relaxing.
Everything is provided
Smart bedlinen, fluffy towels, hot tub towels, soap and shower gel, as well as basic kitchen ingredients. All well insulated with cosy sheep wool, and with good heating, they are perfect for all year round stays. There is plenty of storage under the beds, and many useful hooks and shelves – but don’t bring too much luggage – this is still a step up from glamping – though in great comfort and style!
